1. Acceptance

By using EchoTrail, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. EchoTrail is provided by Zentric AS, org. nr. 933 895 312, Norway.

2. The Service

EchoTrail is a trail companion app that provides GPS tracking, AI-generated stories, and audiobook experiences during hikes. The service requires an internet connection for AI story generation, though some features work offline.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You may not use the service for any illegal purpose.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

  • EchoTrail offers three tiers: Free, Turvenn (NOK 79/month), and Turvenn+ (NOK 149/month).
  • Subscriptions are billed through Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) depending on your platform.
  • You can cancel anytime through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings.
  • Refunds are handled according to Google Play's or Apple's refund policy, as applicable to your platform.
  • Annual billing options may be available — see the current pricing in the app or at echotrail.live.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. AI-Generated Content

  • Stories are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies.
  • AI content is for entertainment purposes and should not be relied upon for navigation, safety, or factual accuracy.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of any historical, geographical, or cultural information in generated stories.

6. Safety & Liability

  • EchoTrail is not a navigation tool. Always use proper maps and equipment when hiking.
  • You are solely responsible for your own safety during outdoor activities.
  • Zentric AS is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from the use of EchoTrail.
  • GPS tracking accuracy depends on your device and conditions. Do not rely on it for critical navigation.

7. Intellectual Property

The EchoTrail app, brand, and underlying technology are owned by Zentric AS. AI-generated stories created during your trails are yours to keep and share, but you may not use them commercially without permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at Kent@zentric.no.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Norway.
