Hear the story where it actually happened

EchoTrail is a Norwegian-built app that narrates the place you’re standing — the moment you’re there. Live on the App Store and Google Play. Languages: English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish.

About EchoTrail

EchoTrail turns outdoor walks into living audio stories. GPS, places of interest, weather and pace shape Discovery, Audiobook, Silence and Urban Explorer modes. Built by Industri & Eiendomservice AS (Sarpsborg) under the Zentric/EchoTrail brand. Free to try; Turvenn / Turvenn+ priced in your local store currency.

How it started

It began on a walk through Gamlebyen in Fredrikstad. Founder Kent Rune Henriksen wanted the story between the fortress walls — told where he stood. So he built it.

«I wanted the place to find its voice in the moment you’re there.»

— Kent Rune Henriksen, founder

How it works

EchoTrail weaves GPS, factual sources (e.g. Wikipedia), weather, on-the-spot AI narration and voice — timed so stories land on the trail. Fact, legend and atmosphere stay clearly separated.

Four ways to experience the walk

Discovery

Short stories at places of interest along the way.

Audiobook

One continuous narrative across the whole hike.

Silence

Brief poetic on-screen glints — no voice.

Explorer

City and local history for urban walks.
